Team Prayer
After Tony's first year as head soccer coach winning the district championship and being awarded Coach of the Year by the other soccer coaches in the district he was a little nervous that he was not going to be able to live up to the standard he had set for himself. This season started off pretty rough with 3 losses in the first 4 games. God is faithful to those who trust Him though. The team ended up with a district record of 14-8 and shared the district championship with 2 other teams. This is the 3rd year in a row for the bobcats to win a district title. Way to go Coach Vu! It has been really exciting to see how everything has worked out through this season. The bobcats had their first district game tonight against Burleson that they won 3-2 in the last minute of play. Tony was playing against one of his old high school coaches from his sophmore year, on Burleson turf. The bobcats will move on to the next round of playoffs on Friday or Saturday of this week. We are excited to see what God has in store!
